Dimez and I sold this joint in our mixtape shop back in the mid 90s. Butta Mixxin’ 1 & 2. I didn’t keep our orignal masters but I did cop this in early 2000 from the now defunct classicmixtapes.com.

You’ve probably seen this online from Tape Kingz but that joint is just tape #33. This right here is the first original Butta Mixxin’ Rican tape. You can tell by the track list the joints are from before Butta Mixxin’ Rican 2 and way before the tape #33 joint. Its not the whole tape tho cause obviously I rip’d it from CD.

I used to love Lazy K’s skill. The way she worked the skills into her early mixtapes was gangsta as hell. It just added to the overall appeal of her joints. This mix was the first time I heard K-Def and Larry O’s Real Live Shit and the Funk-O-Rama blend gotta be my favorite blend of all time. Back when this joint dropped Lazy K seemed to have all the Wu instrumentals before anyone even thought they existed. Was she hittin’ off a Wu member or affiliate? We may never know, lol.
