This dropped back when Spindbad was being managed by Johnny Shipes. Def not my favorite Spinbad mix but an important one none the less. The first 80s megamix was and still is a straight classic mixtape. He pulled shit off on that mix that he shouldn’t have been able to do for when it dropped. Volume two tho was def as skill-full, even more so considering improved technology, but the impact wasn’t as big as part one. He ended the mix with Flock of Seagulls so you can’t be too mad at it, right? Peep the full fold out insert HERE.

This is innovation right here. This is looking at the landscape of mixtapes and pushing forward with a new way to make it work online. The DJ mixtape EP has arrived. I love it. Six tracks and an ill concept is all I need. Throw in some skill, an intro, some break beats and the Iron Fist is complete.

You guys impressed me with this one. Not just musically but the idea is top notch and the execution is flawless. The format itself allows for a lot of flexibility especially in this online microwave culture. Frequency without compromising quality. I can’t wait to see what you guys cook up next.
